Bayern Munich are eager to secure Harry Kane’s long-term future by extending his contract beyond the current 2027 expiry date.
In a recent statement, club president Uli Hoeneß confirmed that Kane does have a release clause which remains active until January, yet emphasised that the England captain is fully expected to honour his existing deal through to 2027.
Hoeneß added that both the club and the player are enthusiastic about opening talks for a new contract.
