Chelsea Completes comeback to Climb second

Chelsea staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Tottenham 4-3 in a thrilling London derby. The match began ominously for Chelsea, with Marc Cucurella’s misfortunes leading to two early Tottenham goals. Dominic Solanke capitalized on Cucurella’s slip to score in the 5th minute, and Dejan Kulusevski doubled the lead just six minutes later.

Chelsea, however, refused to surrender. Jadon Sancho sparked the comeback with a spectacular 20-yard strike, and the Blues continued to push for an equalizer. Their persistence paid off in the 61st minute when Cole Palmer converted a penalty to level the score. Enzo Fernandez then completed the turnaround with a powerful strike in the 73rd minute.Palmer sealed the victory with another penalty in the 84th minute, this time with a clever Panenka.

A late consolation goal from Son Heung-Min was insufficient to alter the outcome, as Chelsea celebrated a hard-fought win. This triumph marked Chelsea’s 15th Premier League point at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, the most by any visiting team since the stadium’s opening in 2019.
