NNPC Ltd. Applauds NDLEA Over Seized Cannabis Truck, Says Vehicle Is Not Ours

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has praised the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for intercepting a truck allegedly used to transport a large quantity of cannabis in Ondo State.

In a public statement, NNPC Ltd. described the NDLEA’s action as a demonstration of alertness and professionalism in the fight against drug trafficking. The agency recovered 2,145kg of suspected cannabis that was reportedly hidden in a concealed compartment of the vehicle.

The company, however, clarified that the truck does not belong to NNPC Ltd. Management said the vehicle is not part of its official fleet and has no connection to the company’s operations or authorized business partners.
