Real Madrid winger Vinícius Jr has reportedly set out his demands as discussions over a new contract begin.
According to Diario Sport, the Brazil international is pushing for a significant upgrade to his current deal. He wants the club to reflect his status as one of the team’s key players.
The forward is said to be requesting an annual salary of €30 million. That figure would place him among the highest earners at the Santiago Bernabéu and in line with Madrid’s top stars.
In addition to the salary, Vinícius is also asking for a €15 million loyalty bonus as part of the renewal package. The bonus is intended to reward his commitment and long-term stay with the club.
With his current influence on the pitch, the 25-year-old’s camp believes the proposed terms are justified. Real Madrid are now expected to review the request as they look to secure his future in the Spanish capital.
