PDP Governors, BoT, and NEC Convene Closed-Door Meeting After Supreme Court Verdict

Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, alongside members of the Board of Trustees and the National Executive Committee, have held a closed-door meeting in Abuja.

The high-level engagement followed a recent Supreme Court judgment addressing the party’s lingering leadership dispute.

The meeting, which had in attendance Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, focused on the implications of the court’s decision and the next steps for party cohesion.

Discussions centered on strengthening internal structures and ensuring a unified front ahead of future political activities.

Party leaders described the session as crucial for charting a clear path forward and reaffirming the PDP’s commitment to stability and strategic planning.

Resolutions from the meeting are expected to guide the party’s actions as it seeks to consolidate its position on the national stage.
