Transcorp Hilton Abuja Refutes Allegations of Cancelling Venue for African Democratic Congress Political EventTranscorp Hilton Abuja has issued an official statement firmly denying claims circulating on social media that it cancelled a booking for a political rally organised by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The hotel management described the reports as entirely false, misleading, and deliberately fabricated, emphasising that no reservation for the event was ever confirmed or processed.

According to the clarification provided in the statement signed by the Acting General Manager, Mohamed Said Khalil, the hotel received only an initial inquiry regarding venue availability on Easter Monday.

However, due to the absence of suitable space at that time, the request could not be accommodated, resulting in no booking being made whatsoever.

The establishment reiterated that, consequently, there was no cancellation, as no formal reservation had been established.

The hotel urged members of the public to disregard the inaccurate narrative and reaffirmed its commitment to transparency.

This development relates to the planned ADC national convention reportedly scheduled for 14 April, amid ongoing discussions surrounding the party’s activities. The statement serves to correct public misconceptions and maintain factual accuracy in the discourse.
