The suspect, identified as Anaegbuachara, is accused of orchestrating the tragic events, reportedly driven by a desire for financial gain through occult means.According to reports, the suspect allegedly confessed to being influenced by a friend, known as ‘Morroco’, who introduced him to a native doctor from Kogi State residing in Nsukka. The suspect claimed that the native doctor instructed him to poison his mother as part of a twisted ritual.
However, fate took a devastating turn when the suspect’s grandmother, sister, and her two children unexpectedly visited and consumed the poisoned food, resulting in their tragic demise.The community has been left reeling in shock, and the suspect has been publicly shamed by his kinsmen, forced to kneel beside his mother’s grave and beg for forgiveness.
