Registering the opening goal of the match for the blues in the conference league wasn’t enough as he added a unique celebration to mark his first of many goal for the Maresca era.

Christopher Nkunku who joined the blues from RB Leipzig on a six year contract in the 2023/2024 transfer window clocks 27 in November but currently leaving his footprint on the sands of time. Nkunku netted from the spot in the 49th minute to put Chelsea in the front after been brought down in the 18 yard box by Jérémy Frick.

He proceeded to celebrate using a blue balloon ranking him among the likes of Carlos Tevez, Pierre Merrick Aubameyang, Mohammed Kudus and Dominic Solanke who have employed props to celebrate a goal.

It took the blues 27 minutes more to seal the win when Noni Maduke Struck to make it two against Servette FC.
