Dino Melaye has shared the humble beginning that shaped his journey to financial independence.
Speaking on the KAA Truths Podcast, he revealed that his story started at age 12 with a single goat.He explained that he bought the goat with the intention of building from it. When the goat reproduced, he sold the offspring and used the proceeds to take care of his school expenses in secondary school. That one decision became the foundation for everything that followed.
According to him, the money from that same goat and its offspring covered major milestones in his academic life. It paid for his WAEC and JAMB registration, and even went toward his tuition for the first and second year at Ahmadu Bello University.By the time he turned 18, he had already started putting money into investments.
He noted that the scale was small at the time, but the mindset was what mattered. For him, waiting to become “rich” before investing was never the plan.His message was simple: you don’t need to have all the wealth in the world to start. With discipline, small steps, and smart decisions, you can build something meaningful from very little.
