Cadbury Nigeria Records N83.35bn Revenue in First Half of 2026 Despite Rising Costs

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has reported a strong top-line performance for the first six months of 2026. The consumer goods company announced revenue of N83.35 billion for H1, representing an 8% increase compared to the same period in 2025.The growth was driven by higher sales across its core brands, even as the business environment remained challenging.

Consumer demand stayed resilient, helping the company sustain volume growth and price adjustments in key product categories.Despite the revenue increase, Cadbury said it faced pressure from elevated operating expenses. Rising costs of raw materials, energy, and logistics weighed on margins during the period, reflecting the broader inflationary trends affecting manufacturers in Nigeria.

Management also emphasized continued investment in brand building and distribution to maintain market share.Looking ahead, Cadbury Nigeria said it will focus on cost management and innovation to protect profitability while growing revenue. The company remains optimistic about demand for its products in the second half of the year, despite the ongoing economic headwinds.
