Ganduje Says Obi and Kwankwaso Lack Political Footprint to Win 2027 Presidency

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, has stated that Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso do not have the governance track record required to secure victory in the 2027 presidential election.Speaking on national political dynamics, Ganduje argued that electoral success at the presidential level demands more than popularity.

According to him, voters will assess candidates based on tangible achievements and a consistent record of leadership. He claimed that both Obi and Kwankwaso have not built the kind of political legacy that resonates across the country. Ganduje said their influence remains largely regional and would not be enough to mobilize the broad coalition needed to win a national contest. The APC chairman added that the 2027 race will be determined by performance, structure, and the ability to address Nigeria’s key challenges.

He maintained that his party is positioning itself with candidates who have demonstrable experience in governance.Ganduje urged political stakeholders to focus on issues rather than rhetoric as the country approaches the next election cycle. He expressed confidence that the APC will present a formidable ticket capable of earning the trust of Nigerians nationwide.
