Tinubu Administration Completes Construction of Judges’ Quarters in Abuja

The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has successfully delivered a modern residential estate known as the Judges’ Quarters in the Katampe District of Abuja.

The project comprises 40 high-quality units specifically designed to accommodate judges from the Federal Capital Territory High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Federal High Court. Execution of the initiative was overseen by the Federal Capital Territory Administration under the leadership of Minister Nyesom Wike.

This housing development forms part of the government’s broader welfare package aimed at enhancing the working and living conditions of judicial officers.

It is intended to support judicial independence, improve productivity, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the justice delivery system by providing a conducive environment for members of the bench.

The project, which is nearing completion with significant progress already recorded, underscores the current administration’s commitment to strengthening the judiciary as a critical arm of government.

Official statements have emphasised that the quarters represent a strategic investment in judicial welfare rather than any form of inducement, aligning with the Renewed Hope agenda’s focus on institutional reform and good governance.
