Manchester United Interested in Signing Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United is ramping up its pursuit of Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, with the club preparing to submit a second proposal to the Bees. The Red Devils are willing to increase their offer to meet Brentford’s valuation of around £60 million, similar to the £62.5 million fee paid for Matheus Cunha from Wolves.

Mbeumo has reportedly expressed his desire to join Manchester United, and the club’s manager, Ruben Amorim, is a big fan of the player’s versatility and skills. Amorim envisions Mbeumo playing alongside Cunha, with Bruno Fernandes operating in a deeper role.

Mbeumo’s ability to play in various positions across the front line, including on the right and up front, makes him an attractive signing for Manchester United.Brentford, however, remains firm on its valuation, refusing to sell Mbeumo for less than £60 million. The Bees are under no pressure to sell, having secured an option to extend Mbeumo’s contract by an additional year.

This gives them leverage to hold out for their desired price, potentially until the transfer deadline on September 1.The pursuit of Mbeumo is part of Manchester United’s broader recruitment strategy under Amorim, who is rebuilding his squad after a disappointing season.

Mbeumo’s pace, creativity, and clinical finishing ability are seen as key assets that could enhance Manchester United’s attacking options.Manchester United’s negotiations with Brentford will be closely watched, particularly given the interest in Mbeumo’s teammate, Yoane Wissa, from Saudi Pro League clubs.

If Wissa secures a lucrative move, Brentford may be less inclined to sell Mbeumo at a discounted price, putting further pressure on Manchester United to meet their valuation.
