Very Darkman Arrested by EFCC For Cyber stalking

Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Very Dark Man, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at a GT Bank branch in Abuja. The circumstances surrounding his arrest are still unfolding, but reports indicate that he had visited the bank to complain about unauthorized debit transactions on his mother’s account.

According to eyewitnesses, Very Dark Man was whisked away by heavily armed men alongside a friend, who was allegedly beaten. His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, claims that GT Bank aided in his arrest by holding him in a confined space for 5 minutes, allowing the authorities to apprehend him.

The reasons behind Very Dark Man’s arrest are still unclear, but speculation suggests that it may be linked to his recent allegations against the EFCC or other controversies surrounding his activism. As a public figure, Very Dark Man’s actions and words have garnered significant attention, and his arrest has sparked debate about the role of banks and law enforcement agencies in addressing grievances.

The incident has raised questions about the balance between maintaining law and order and protecting free speech. While some argue that public figures should be held accountable for their actions, others see Very Dark Man’s arrest as an attempt to silence dissent. Further clarification on the circumstances surrounding his arrest is needed to understand the implications of this incident.
