Luis Diaz’s potential move to Barcelona is gaining traction, but it’s essential to separate fact from rumor. While Sport reports that Diaz has agreed to join Barcelona, other sources suggest that the Colombian winger is indeed a top target for the Catalan giants, but a deal is far from done.
Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, is reportedly a big fan of Diaz, and the club sees him as an ideal fit to enhance their left wing attack. Diaz’s contract with Liverpool doesn’t expire until 2027, so the Reds are in a strong position to demand a significant transfer fee, rumored to be around £80 million.
It’s also worth noting that Barcelona’s financial situation is delicate, and they may need to sell players before making a move for Diaz. Ferran Torres, who has caught the attention of Aston Villa, could be one of the players to make way for Diaz’s potential arrival
