Additionally, NDLEA officers intercepted a shipment of 12,800 pills of tramadol 250mg heading to Shuwarin in Jigawa State, leading to the arrest of a 33-year-old suspect. The agency also recovered 65 parcels of Colorado, a synthetic strain of cannabis, weighing 1.6kg.

The NDLEA’s efforts extend beyond enforcement, with the agency continuing its War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) sensitization activities across Kano and other states. Recent engagements include an enlightenment lecture at Taangayar Malam Abubakar Bichi, an Almajiri school in Bichi, Kano. The NDLEA’s efforts aim to educate communities about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a safer, healthier society ¹.
