Manchester City Thumps West-Ham 4-1

Manchester City secured a convincing 4-1 win over West Ham United in yesterday’s Premiership game at the Etihad Stadium. This victory marks their second consecutive win, a feat they hadn’t achieved since October.

Erling Haaland was in top form, scoring two goals, while Savinho impressed with his assists, setting up both of Haaland’s goals. The win sees Manchester City move up to sixth place in the Premier League standings, although they remain 11 points behind leaders Liverpool, who have two games in hand

Despite the win, manager Pep Guardiola expressed concerns about his team’s performance, stating that they are “absolutely not” back to their best. Guardiola emphasized that Manchester City’s performance was “not good” and that they have a long way to go to reach their former standards.

The team will look to build on this momentum as they face Salford in the FA Cup third round on January 11, followed by Premier League matches against Brentford and Ipswich Town on January 14 and 19, respectively.
