Their ill-fated endeavor took them to the vicinity of the Niger Delta University’s New Site and the Ogobiri roundabout, where they attempted to carry out their nefarious plans under the cover of darkness.
The next morning, the lifeless bodies of the two thieves were discovered, bearing gruesome evidence of the fatal consequences of their actions. One of the victims had been completely incinerated, leaving behind only a charred outline of his body, while the other suffered severe burns that rendered him almost unrecognizable.
