The Oyo State Civil Service Commission has announced that its ongoing recruitment process will involve a computer-based test for selected applicants. According to Chairman Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe, the commission received an overwhelming 22,235 applications, but only 15,000 met the required standards. From this pool, 900 successful candidates will be recruited into various positions across over 60 government agencies.
The commission has organized the applicants into two groups to assess their competence. The first group, comprising those seeking roles as Education Officers, Environmental Health Personnel, Social Welfare, and Youth Officers, will take the test on Monday and Tuesday. The second group will sit for the test on Thursday. To ensure a smooth process, the commission has sent invitation letters to successful applicants, advising them to arrive at the examination centers with their printed application forms and invitation slips. Applicants are reminded to adhere to the examination rules, which prohibit the use of phones and other devices within the test venues. The commission is committed to a fair and transparent recruitment process, and applicants are encouraged to report any issues or concerns. With the recruitment process underway, the Oyo State Civil Service Commission is poised to welcome new talent into its ranks.
