Sad news coming from the center of excellence as truck belonging Dangote crashes into roadside market, leaving 5 dead, two of which were students, and scores injured.The sad incident happened in the Aiyetoro area in Epe Lagos state this morning.
Eye witness account states that it was due to brake failure and the truck loaded with cement whilst taking the sloped veered of the road and made it way into market. In a bid to secure the area and offer first hand help, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority as well as the Federal Road Safety Corps were on ground in due time.
LASTMA official confirmed the accident was between a Dangote truck heading from Ita-Opo that rammed into a tricycle as well as a toyota Camry Before heading for the market complex. The officers confirmed the tricycle rider as well as two students from the Manpower technical school were died on the spot and thier bodies have been sent to the Epe general hospital mortuary.
