Sad news coming from the city of Valencia in Spain as heavy downpour lasting 8 hours have left over 50 persons dead and multitudes displaced.
A hard pill to swallow but the Spanish city is in disarray owing to Storm Dana alongside flood that has claimed lives and the football calendar disrupted. This has caused the home Laliga fixture between Real Madrid and Valencia scheduled for November 2nd to be postponed.
The affected area are the Valencia and Albacete area, thier Valencia Basket’s EuroCup home game has also been postponed. Spanish clubs like real Madrid and Barcelona have sent thier condolences and have promised financial and physical aids.
Sport lovers all over the have commiserated and pray storm of this nature doesn’t occur again.
