The sad development rented the cyber space after a tanker driver coming from Kano at about 11:30 PM on Tuesday lost control of a fully loaded gasoline tank along Majia town close to Khadija university in the Majia area of Taura Local government area.
Reports from reliable source maintained that the huge number or causality is tied to the fact that victims were trying to scoop the produce after the accident occured.
Our respondent can confirm that over a hundred who were victims have been given a mass burial and over 70 still receiving medical attention hospital.
The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shetimma sends words of sympathy and prayers ensure preventive measures by which combustible materials are transported will be worked upon to combat the rate of accidents of this nature. He added that support will be given out to the families of the deceased.
