Daily Hadith

Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) once led us in a prayer and offered two rak`at and got up (for the third rak`a) without sitting (after the second rak`a). The people also got up with him, and when he was about to finish his prayer, we waited for him to finish the prayer with Taslim but he said Takbir before Taslim and performed two prostrations while sitting and then finished the prayer with Taslim.

  1. It’s fascinating how the Prophet (ﷺ) corrected the prayer seamlessly without causing confusion among the followers. This incident highlights the importance of humility and adaptability in leadership. I wonder if this was a teaching moment to emphasize the significance of each part of the prayer. It’s also interesting how the companions followed him without hesitation, showing their trust in his guidance. Do you think this incident was meant to teach us about the flexibility in prayer? How do you interpret the Prophet’s (ﷺ) actions in this context? Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
