An Interpol red notice was issued against Jeff, indicating his involvement in international drug trafficking. The agency also worked with international partners, including the National Intelligence Service of South Korea, to track down Jeff.
Comprehensive intelligence gathered by the NDLEA revealed Jeff’s role as a notorious drug lord who recruited young Nigerians to smuggle illicit substances into South Korea.Jeff’s arrest led to the recovery of multiple Nigerian international passports belonging to different individuals, many containing Korean visas. Additionally, drugs worth over N1.4 billion in street value were seized. The NDLEA has assured that it will continue to fight against illicit drug networks and their financiers, both domestically and internationally. This arrest is a testament to the agency’s commitment to safeguarding public health and national security.
The NDLEA’s efforts to bring Jeff to justice demonstrate the agency’s determination to disrupt international drug trafficking operations. Jeff’s arrest is a significant milestone in the fight against drug trafficking, and the NDLEA will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that Nigeria does not serve as a base for international drug trafficking operations.
