The Enugu State Police Command has dealt a devastating blow to a notorious interstate criminal syndicate specializing in armed robbery and fraud. At the heart of this syndicate is a dismissed soldier and seven other suspects, who were apprehended in Enugu for their involvement in armed robbery. The suspects were found with a stash of illicit goods, including firearms and ammunition, stolen cash, laptops, mobile phones, jewelry, and other valuables.
The police command’s success in dismantling this syndicate is a significant milestone in the fight against crime in Enugu State! The operation, which commenced on November 12, 2024, was carried out by a joint team involving the Emene Division, Crack and Octopus Tactical Squads, and the Neighbourhood Watch Group. The police command’s bravery and diligence have paid off, and the people of Enugu can now sleep with both eyes closed.
